Louis Braun GmbH was established in late 1998. The company's goal is to provide expert reinsurance services to meet all client requirements.

Our company is based in Munich, Germany. Due to the major reinsurance companies which have a presence here, Munich is one of the world's leading reinsurance centres. Thanks to the city's superb central location at the heart of Europe, we maintain very close personal relationships and highly efficient business contacts with other key reinsurance players in neighbouring European countries.

We provide a wide range of services in both the non-life and life insurance sectors for our current clients. The extensive scope of our services covers every requirement: they include the joint development of specially tailored reinsurance solutions, placement and the compilation of accounts for balance sheet purposes. Some of our clients have even outsourced the operating activities of their reinsurance departments to our company.
 
Our company enjoys connections with insurers and reinsurers worldwide. Thanks to the excellent contacts which we have built up with specialist organizations, we benefit from direct access to supplementary up-to-date expertise (e.g. meteorological data, technical information etc.) and we are able to integrate these insights into our services.
